Having been Manager/Lead Practitioner of Little Cherries Pre-school (formally known as The Cherry Playgroup) since 1998, I have over these years, seen the group progress though many changes and develop into what it is today.
As a preschool that predominantly serves the local community, I enjoy working with families and children to best meet their needs. We aim to provide a service that is fully inclusive in meeting the needs of all children and recognise that children and their families come form diverse backgrounds. I, along with my team, feel privileged to be able to provide the children in our care with the best possible start in their learning journey.
I manage a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring team, all of whom have a wealth of experience. All permanent staff members hold a level 2 or above qualification, appropriate for the care and development of children as required by Ofsted. All staff are encouraged to participate in additional training to continue their professional development, keep up to date with new initiatives, consolidate their areas of expertise and keep abreast of new legislative requirements.
